Officials of the alumni association and Batch ’83 graduates of the Angono Private High School (APHS) are spearheading a fun run on January 22, 2012 which aims to raise funds for the construction of the school’s covered court at Barangay Pag-asa, Binangonan, Rizal.
Dubbed “Run@60 in 2013,” the fun run serves as 2012 opening salvo for its year-long celebration culminating on February 2013, which marks the 60th year of the school foundation.
Organizers said the fun run, which has 3K and 5K categories, also aims to foster camaraderie among APHS graduates together with their family and friends.
The registration fee – which includes singlet, race packet and snacks — is worth P290 and P240 for alumni and kiddie runners/students, respectively.
Winners will receive the following prizes:
5K (Male and Female) 1st place, P2,000 and medal; 2nd place, P1,500 and medal; 3rd place, P1,000 and medal
3K (Male, Female, Kiddie runners) 1st place, P1,500 and medal; 2nd place, P1,000 and medal; 3rd place, P500 and medal
Barkada Run: 1st place, P3,000 and medals; 2nd place, P2,500 and medals; 3rd place, P2,000 and medals.
