Office of the Mayor, Municipality of Angono — As of 12:30 this noon, Tuesday, 1, 396 families or 6,980 individuals affected by floods and heavy rains are relocated and staying in 12 evacuation centers spread in four lakeshore barangays of Angono, Rizal.
In an emergency meeting just a few minutes ago, Mayor Gerry Calderon called on all barangay officials and municipal employees to be vigilant and respond immediately and adequately to the needs of affected individuals.
While the municipality has enough resources to provide to the increasing number of evacuees, donations from the public are welcome.
DSWD worker Ma’am Sita Vestra said evacuees need old clothes, blanket, and mineral water.
